I thought this show was going to be good for his reputation.

I now hate him after watching a couple of episodes.

I only watched the one where he was helping the guy out and range. He was shooting at a target about 10 yards away. Not a great display of skill.

He was shooting 30 yards out in .5" groups.

Yeah, he definitely kicks the Nola drawl in pretty well about half the time.

I don't know what to think.

I guess that's the pure genius of this show.

Sombody just handed somebody something. Probably slingin drugs, lets get em, hit the lights.

WHAT?? Sure it was late and a group was standing outside. But it was at someones house. All for a traffic warrant. JPSO need to watch what they air if they want respect.

I thought it was funny as hell in the first episode when they were enroute to a call. Segal was being a passenger seat driver. His partner busted his balls, "Steve, shut up and let me drive"

i think he comes off as a douche. i was thinking last night that he must not watch his show because if he did he would change how he acts.

i don't know how the other cops keep a straight face.

Watched last night for the first time and was strangely intrigued. Has he really been doing this for 20 years?

I just watched the target practice scene again. No way that was 30 yards. I used to shoot competitively and would've been thrilled if they put those targets out and called it 30 yards. I can't believe that guy is a captain and has a grouping like that from 10 yards away.

Question: If this was another city ouside of La. would you watch? I asked myself that and think not. Nothing against the hard working guys on that show, but they do seem like a rag tag bunch of guys who were thrown together for the show. They just seem like they were doing something else and was told to hit the streets and bust some bad guys. Even the cops that show up late on the scene seem a bit sloppy. Just don't think the show will last.

July of 08 was last nights date
