It’s overdone and doesn’t match the pacing of the story. All of this is happening in a few days but these people are just strolling along for no reason in these scenes.

Just because it broke the streaming record for being the “most watched” show doesn’t mean that it’s some leap of cinematic achievement. And I don’t have to fricking pretend like it’s worth seeing, because I know it’s not. It’s a trash arse show that will be forgotten years from now just like every other piece of half-assed cookie cutter garbage that Netflix pumps out every year.

I get it, theres a gay kid in it and its a bit over the top, the female government dike is overtop…don’t love those things. It’s still a really fun watch and people bitching, still watching S5 and posting to complain about it on Christmas day are more of the things they hate than the show. Anyway, top 10 for me for sure, closer to 5 than 10. And the way they did Will coming out was way better than i expected.

They should’ve just killed Vecna off last season and ended the show. This just feels like a worse version of last season. The last season of Game of Thrones was better than this garbage.

Everyone in my house was screaming,”Run!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? GET OUT OF THERE AND BACK TO YOUR BODY!!!”. Absolutely ridiculous how long they talked when Vecna could’ve showed up at any moment.

I guess I’m completely off the reservation, because outside of the cringe over the top we won’t leave you scene, I thought everything was very well done. I also thought those 3 episodes were 3 of the creepier episodes of TV I’ve watched in a long time.

Pretty clear from the beginning that Will was weak and vulnerable due to various degrees of neglect and abuse from his father and being the least physically developed in his group of outcast but Netflix just has to force their queer quota on the show so the Duffers sacrificed Will’s potentially all-time character arc to appease the suits.
Damn shame too, Noah is the best actor of all the “kids” and that decision has probably fricked his career up.
