Anyone else think Shiv looks more and more like Phillip Seymour Hoffman as the series progresses?

She really has plumped up. I know a lot of guys thought she was hot in season one, and while thicc is not my thing, I can understand. She's straight up fat now.

She was pregnant IRL during filming of this last season.

She had a straight-up dumptruck early on. Not my thing on the reg, but would def take home a redhead with a huge arse as long as no one was looking in my bar years!

Anyone worried this isn’t going to wrap up right? I read somewhere that every episode this season is a day and that they’re all back-to-back. So we’ve got 6 days left. SIX DAYS to wrap this up?!? There’s talk of an election on the horizon, but we don’t really know any of the candidates so not like they can do much with that. We’ve got to have a funeral day so now there’s 5 days left?

Idk, seems like this is going to feel insanely rushed and barely even start to tie-up all the loose ends. If this is what it’s going to be, we really only have time for one epic explosion / destruction that blow up the gojo deal and leaves everything in tatters, and that’s how it ends.

I feel like it’s going to feel impossible rushed, like Danny going batshit rushed.

Karl’s gotta be funniest character per lines actually spoken.

Told Tom that he was a clumsy interloper who no one trusts, and his only advocate was dead.

Then when talking about art in storage, Shiv is being her typical bitchy sarcastic self (still wood tho): Maybe we should burn it for the insurance.

Karl deadpans: That would be the dream, financially speaking

Hope he and his BiL get that Greek island they’re trying to buy.

As much as I loved Brian Cox I’m loving watching the others shine. Glad they did it early in the season.

It does kind of let the show breathe a little bit without him dominating everything

I just started S1 based on the non spoiler feedback about S4. I'm an episode and a half in, and it feels like Billions, but without the fun, intrigue, and complex characters. When does this pick up? Where in S1 is the break point where the story actually comes together for a newbie? DV away, but I don't like force watching stuff that "everyone" says is great, but actually isn't.

Just stop watching. You're an adult if you don't like it don't watch it

I'd actually forgotten this until I read your post, but I remember watching the first episode then kind of forgetting about it. I don't know how long I waited but I started it again and a few episodes in I was hooked. I'd say give it 3 maybe 4 and if it doesn't happen leave it

Useful advice from TD in direct response to an explicit question? I never! I'll give it a shot until after S1E4.

I’m the same way, it took me a while to get into it and I’m probably the only person on this board that considers Billions a better show. It definitely had better actors. My suggestion would be to watch other shows that you’re into then come back to it later when you have the time.

No kidding. The woke shite was tolerable early on as it was still a good show, but it went off the rails woke in the last season. Without Axe, it became insufferable. I stopped with the episode where they showed the massive picture of Stacy Abrams hanging in the office. Talk about forcing shite where it doesn't belong.

Episodes 6-10 in S1 are really good. S2 is solid then S3 is kind of trash. Now S4 is good again so far.

There was a smugness to Billions that put me off from the first second I watched it. I think I only made it 2 or 3 episodes.

Did Shiv really think she was going to take over? I mean what an entitled bitch.
Has she even worked for the company in any official capacity during the show’s run? Her resume is as an activist for a fringe political movement. She would be a preposterous replacement.
