I watched it every now and then on TV when I catch it flipping channels. There is something about the raw production that is just so creepy.

Maybe one of you can help me name this episode.

I belive it was one of these anthology shows. The only thing I remember is a guy dies and his worst enemy somehow gets his brain and intends to either torture it or experiment on it, while keeping him awake and aware.

The final shot was the brain hooked up to the machine, and the scientist or whatever telling him, "Welcome to Hell!"

Scared me shitless as a kid.

The only Darkside I remember was the one where they were trying to convince this old man he was dead. He finally sneezed and just said he got it and walked out. They showed the handkerchief he had and he had sneezed his nose off.

I remember an episode with Christian Slater, something along the lines of his grandad coming back to life

Could it be "A choice of Dreams" Season 2 Episode 20. The legendary Abe Vigoda is in that one

Thanks. From the synopsis, that has to be it. I'll give it a watch.

Amazing Stories

You just triggered a core memory of young decoco watching the ww2 bomber about to belly land with the gunner unable to get out of the bubble but he draws the landing gear.

Man that was buried deep in my subconscious. Wow

The Shadow Man episode is from the new Twilight Zone revival in 1985. Great episode!
The 1985 Twilight Zone is so underrated. Amazing list of writers with stories by people like Harlan Ellison and Arthur C. Clarke.

I love Harlan Ellison. I have a few of his books and once met him. Had dinner with him and a group of others in Shreveport in the early 80s. Sat right next to him. He was fascinating.

worked with a guy who went to highschool with him

said he was a great guy to his friends (of which he had very few) and a total a-hole to everyone else

also said he was the smartest person he’d ever known

I used to watch Darkside as a kid but I can only remember one episode. It was a chick that had like a Gypsy curse on her or something. If she had sex or fell in love she would turn into a goblin or something. I specifically remember her waking up after doing it and big black fingernails shooting out of her fingertips like switchblades.
