Why should the personal assistant to Harvey Weinstein be gift wrapped a Star Wars project? What the hell has she ever done to deserve that? Other than she knows a lot more van has been made public and probably some people don’t want that info getting out. So they gave.her something to keep her quiet.

That’s the only reasonable explanation here.

I’ve said since day one this is a pay off for knowing where the proverbial bodies are. Since the literal announcement that was my thinkjng.

I’ve literally admitted using the words good about very very limited things in the show. Multiple times. And I know you read it. So why are you lying? What purpose does it serve.

You have, and that’s why I said some of you.

She was merely credited as a writer for that. One of the writers even though she was publicly acknowledged as the “lead.” After we have seen the acolyte it’s safe to assume we know that was a lie. She never show ran anything

This guy does a fantastic job breaking down story and character through a more academic lens. I really enjoy his videos. I feel like he is unbiased in his take and backs statements with more than "cause I believe it to be true".

Agreed. I enjoy going into whatever I’m watching especially film breakdowns knowing the bias if any of the content creator so I can adjust anything accordingly if needed. He is very to the point, doesn’t bloviate for ad revenue, and speaks in simple enough terms while being just complex enough for most to get it. He’s very talented

So what? That was one show. Where has she shown any aptitude to show run something like a Star Wars series ?

But of course, leave it to Sammy to White Knight for Leslye

Sci-Fi even light Sci-Fi mixed with adventure fantasy has to have some grounding roots to it. Headland is incapable of writing that, in her mind Sci-Fi means anything she imagines is just a plot device from making sense. This is how awful Sci-Fi stuff gets made and Disney has turned over Lucasfilm to idiots like this.

She was executive producer, and directed half the episodes.

You don’t have to like The Acolyte to acknowledge she made another show that was good. or not good. you can have your own opinion on Russian Doll. I liked it

The balls they had writing the ending like that only for the show to get canceled after one season

Even the credit songs were an intentional finger to Star Wars and its fans. It’s a small thing but it was deliberate and further proof that these people hate SW, they’re just using the iconography to push their BS.

Liberals: Stop making every decision we make look political!

Also Liberals:

quote:

Headland, who finally responded to the original question: “No, I don’t think so! But people have told me that it’s the gayest Star Wars. And frankly, I’m into it.” Stenberg added, “I think Star Wars is already so gay. I mean, have you seen the outfits? We often say, ‘look how gay this is,’ and then send each other a reference photo.” Headland continued with an anecdote that brought laughter: “And are you telling me with a straight face that C-3PO is straight? I think it’s canon that R2-D2 is a lesbian.”

Most of the Left are just completely disingenuous. What they really mean is stop using traditional forms of masculinity/good and evil/positive religious influence/etc. While they go ham on any property they want and twist it for their means.

Same idea as the "freedom from religion" nonsense. They just want a bigger space for their ideas and to keep other ideas out.

Good riddance to this show and its creator. Get them out of Star Wars.

It's only pushing a message when you don't agree with the message being pushed.

False. It pushes a message when it pushes a message when you agree with it or not. Almost all films or shows concerned almost only with pushing a message are shite. Even if I agree with the message. It just so happens almost of them lately are progressives but it hasn’t always been the case

That’s false and nonsensical. If you actually believe that you’ve been suckered by propaganda.

I guess I needed to add a sarcasm tag after it.

Everything has a message to it. It's just funny that people who don't agree with the message are always complaining about that.

The left complain about misogynistic messaging if a show doesn't have strong female leads. They call it homophobic if a show doesn't have enough LGBT representation. The right complains a show is woke if it has too much of either.
