Disney has admitted to it and that sort of thing is unprecedented for a major studio.

Find actual good writers.
Other than Andor, recent star projects have had the most boring and basic dialogue. Fix that and it will fix your show. I promise.

You say that because you agree with the message.
Which, for the record, I do too.
Every decision a director makes is a message about something. Deadpool really likes to use his swords. Why? When he is being shot at repeatedly, why does he insist on using his swords? Because he knows he can heal from it and is in no real danger of being shot. What message does that send? Well people will be reckless if they feel there is no real danger.
In Inside Out, the dad's main emotion at the control was Anger. What message does that send? That the dad is more prone to anger than other emotions. Is the director saying men in general are more included to feel angry than women? The mom's was sadness. Does that mean the mom has issues with depression?
Now obviously I am digging deep for messages and these aren't surface level. Heck they may not even be the same conclusion that others make based on their own background.
And some shows, such as many examples recently, have much more surface level messaging. As others have pointed out, when a director starts trying to make every decision point toward that message and sacrifices plot, characterization, and established lore; that's when you have a piece of crap produced.
But just because not every show or movie crams the message down your throat doesn't mean it isn't there. Heck sometimes a message changes over time as people gain more understanding about the director/author or about the greater establishment of the world.

It's only pushing a message when you don't agree with the message being pushed.
It's not a question of is a message pushed or not - that's liberal thinking. It's a question of how, why and through what kinds of background, intention, etc.
But there is a difference between how good and evil was defined/described/portrayed in Star Wars 1977 and how some of these modern projects defines/describers/intends it to be.

E the Episode 5 fight scene was awesome. the complaints about it were always dumb as shite
They numerous mini fights in that episode were ok. They looked better in comparison to the rest of the sludge on screen. Their setup and execution were pretty blah. The saber fights in the finale were shite.

There was not a 'message' in the Acolyte. A couple of female witches were gay and conjured up two girl babies. The gayness was a minor plot detail they didnt make a big deal about. Several people ran out the same "we hate woke" playbook on something that was not offensive to reasonable people.

Yes exactly. Why is a certain message being pushed?
Clearly it is to normalize a behavior and lifestyle. And the more the right pushes back on the message the more the left doubles down.
Hopefully projects that engage in bad faith like Acolytes continue be canceled.

False, show runner and lead actress have said so.

What exactly was being normalized? Using magic to create children. Most people understand its make believe. Gay families have been normalized on TV for about 10 years. You do not have a reasonable argument.

You can’t honestly argue both sides. You can’t say the only people who didn’t like this show did so based on politics then say it has no politics in it. You’re being dishonest as usual and you didn’t even watch the show which also makes you a hypocrite.

I never made an argument for the show being offensive. Stop it with your semi-moronic attempts to turn everyones post against them. Its a terrible schtick. Nothing offensive occurred on this show that has not happened on primetime TV for about 10 years. This show was not on the cutting edge of having a gay message. People just applied the "its too woke" to something that was not offensive to reasonable people.

Sammy has a habit of defending Disney properties like they’re his children then a couple months go by and he pretends he didn’t like them. Check his post history, it’s his pattern.

Nobody said you did so you can stop making straw men and stop doing what you’re accusing me of doing.

one of those things doesn't matter, and wasn't why fans of Star Wars hated this show.
the other part of that statement was a big deal, and why this show was fricking terrible.
You're unable to recognize and admit that the overwhelming majority of star wars fans that didn't like this show, did so b/c of things like that second part, not the first part.
those two girls were supposed to be the main characters of this show, and yet no one gives a shite about them or where their story goes.
I'd be fine with a season 2 if they hired someone competent, and focused on the Sith. That's a story that should be told on how the Sith came to power in the shadows.
