The Andes didn’t do much for me

I loved the spectacled bears isolating themselves on that huge, narrow rock spine, and then climbing down.

and the torrent duck and chicks diving into the thermal water to eat the larvae was sick.

The hummingbirds with the extended wings was incredible.

The wildflowers that only bloom once or twice a decade in the high plateau desert was wild.

The flamingos we've seen in other docs, but its always nice to see them.

And of course, the frog that can die and come back.

idk some of these have been meh, but I thought this one was the best.

The Caribbean episode may have been my favorite

The sailfish feeding and working together on the tiny fish was badarse

Suctioning the camera onto the sperm whale was cool

Patagonia episode was pretty awesome. Some of the shots were just ridiculous.

The freaking battle royale of those beetles up in the tree was pretty awesome I admit

The winner has sex with the female then throws her arse out of tree onto the ground. What a boss

That was wild. I would love to know how they got the shots of the beetles falling from the tree.

Attenborough is the GOAT. My wife hates it when I pronounce the slow animal like he does, Slowth...for Sloth. I also hate to admit that I just started watching the Oceans doc on Netflix yesterday with Obama narrating and he does an excellent job, but its still Barry.

The Caribbean episode

I was a few behind, and watched this one last night.

That whale hunt with the squid was incredible. I guess I didn't realize sperm whales hunted with echolocation on the ocean floor. But it was badass how his clicks got faster and louder and he honed in on that squid and beelined straight for it. And it said each click is louder than a gun shot.

shite was wildly fascinating.

The orcas teaching their young how to get seals on the beach was wild. They've got to be the smartest animal in the world outside of primates.

All the episodes have been excellent, if you appreciate spectacular scenery and what goes into capturing these magic moments I would highly recommend…

Here’s Jets in the Wild

It’s Top Gun meets an Episode of Nature

The episodes of California Super Bloom & Grand Canyon : North Rim are absolutely breathtaking.

They have episodes on the south, specifically Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, & the Gulf Coast.
