So we are getting Earth 2 Wells (and it appears he ends up creating a successful particle accelerator in Earth 2). We could prob assume we get an Earth 2 Eddie and prob Earth 2 versions of other folks from the team.
Maybe the Earth 2 version of Snow turns out to the villain the comic nerds were predicting she ends up being.

honestly, i have found this season to be a little boring so far. i have a feeling its going to continue to be a "villain of the week" format with just a few minutes of the on going storyline.
theres just no real drama to the show. hopefully it picks up.
i am interested to see how they balance the dynamic of earth 1 and earth 2. fringe really did the "parallel worlds" the best. maybe itll hold up to them. i would like to see more than just earth 1 or 2 this season. could be interesting to throw a really odd ball villain or hero into the mix.
what are the odds that the arrow/flash crossover this season has an arrow doppleganger show up?
eta: how could i forget that sealab 2021 did the dopplegangers the best!

I think they are just setting things up at this point. Last season didn't start to kick into high gear until halfway through the season (probably the episode where Barry first went back in time.) They are having to setup and "explain" the multiverse theory, and how the two earths are connected (I think they'll just stick with earths 1 & 2 for now to keep things simple, and then expand on that in future seasons). They are also going to have to start leading up to the Legends of Tomorrow on both this show, and Arrow (which will probably be the focus of the first set of crossovers).

It really doesn't take that much explanation. Most people know the idea of parallel worlds. It's been used for decades now.
Cisco is the only thing keeping me interested so far. I agree the first season was like this as well but you expect that from a new show. Season 2 should get right into it.

I enjoyed episode 2 much more the first episode, but I thought the Patty Spivot character was annoying, and I do not give a frick about the upcoming side plot of Detective West and his wife.

Man I would of pissed myself had I not known Tom was coming back this season. I wish I could stay away from all that stuff.
