I guess I won't accept the horrible acting that's blindly handed to me, but whatever

this. CW's offering's on superheroes are cheesy and over the top.
give me SHIELD and their non costumed cast anyday.

I'm not even sure what I'm looking at.

So as someone who knows next to nothing about The Flash's villains, I have no clue that is what they are building towards and it feels Very Smallvilleish. Smallville got better as they focused more on the macrostory and not the MOTW.
We're what, 6 episodes in on Flash? Every show like this needs a first half of a season or so to build the universe a bit.
Arrow did it, Smallville did it for longer, Shield was very much did it, Fringe, Gotham, etc...
That being said, I feel like Flash is moving along at a much faster pace than any of these shows did and that once we have that big breakout episode(ex. pre-Winter Soldier for Shield), I'm sure Flash will be heavy on the moving forward and the full-on MOTW episodes will be farther and fewer between.

Anyone who thinks they know what’s going on is wrong. I’m in the in and I thought I knew, but Andrew told me and I was like, ‘Holy crap.'”
Gustin said that. Sounds like this show is going to be fantastic in the second half.
And Spoiler alert!!!!!
Wells is not the reverse flash. That is a big spoiler imo.

But Barry won’t be alone in this fight. “Episode 9 is really cool because it’s everybody coming together to help,” Kreisberg says. “Cisco [Carlos Valdes] and Wells [Tom Cavanagh] devise a trap to bait the Reverse Flash and they enlist the help of Tina McGee, played by Amanda Pays from the original Flash show. It becomes an interesting new combination of characters.”

I don't know if that is a spoiler. But with that said, I'll do the spoiler thing for this post.

Kreisberg could've intentionally worded that response to make it seem like Wells isn't the Reverse Flash. Just because Wells is helping them trap RF, doesn't mean that Wells is playing them.
But with that said, I don't think that is the case. I've always highly doubted that Wells is the RF. Anytime the writers try and push the audience into thinking something like Wells is the RF as hard as they have, 9 times out of 10 he won't be. That is one reason why I haven't bought into that theory.
And I'm surprised that they are introducing Tina McGee into this show (she was Wally West's girlfriend not Barry Allen's, and the actress is in her 50s). I wonder if she'll take Caitlin's place once Caitlin turns into Killer Frost?

And I can't wait for the return of Tockman tonight. I really liked his character on Arrow. Throw him and a metahuman like Blackout together, and you've got the recipe for a good show.

Oh crap I forgot he was gonna be on tonight! Tockman was my favorite villain of the week from last season.
Still I think I'm most hyped for the preview of Flash vs Arrow.

Doesn't Arrow make an appearance tonight as well?

Whoever Wells is, does he know that his two workers in the lab become metahumans, also?

If he is truly from the future then I would assume so (especially Caitlin).
