NYC is a trainwreck and you have a Governor 2 years ago telling the wealthy to leave and now she's begging them to come back because the took they tax dollars to Florida and NY is fricked.
Keeping digging that hole.
Keeping digging that hole.

SPOILER ALERT
I wonder when the daughters will find out that their mom bailed on NYC and went back to Montana?
Also have a big dislike for Abby's Ex.

I think they will eventually find out.
Will have to wait until Season 2. Not sure when that will be released.

This needed more than 6 episodes. I really enjoyed it and it definitely left me invested in the characters and interested in what comes next

They are realizing how smug, pretentious, and condescending the environment is in New York. When they realize their mom went back to Gods Country they’ll decide to give it a go. The weight and chains they are dragging will be broken, they’ll get out there and experience freedom, adventure and redemption.

This was excellent. Enjoyed all and definitely wanting more. Struck a chord with me as an older person.

So they dropped three more episodes? When?

I came out here last year for the very reason. My intention was to stay a little over a year. I have and will go back home, next month. It was a great decision, grand adventure. Alas, it’s time to go back to my children and grandchildren. I drove down to Ennis yesterday. It’s a beautiful place. I love Montana!

Honestly, I think this is Sheridan's best writing.
Pfeiffer said in an interview that he wrote this part for her. Like, she went meet him to see a script and he didn't have one. She was worried, but called Hellen Mirren and she gave Sheridan glowing reviews.
Pfeiffer was fantastic in this. Her ability to switch emotion off and on, like in her therapy sessions was genius.
I am all in on this show.

That scene was hilarious. I'm actually starting to like this show now. The scenery is beautiful, as expected. If I ever won the lottery, I'd probably buy a mountain home in that area.

That's when you fly back home to Louisiana and go fishing and hunting at the camp

Agreed. Never got into Yellowstone but have seen most everything else. I chuckled at the “ Sheridan writing women” but it was a fair criticism.
It’s honestly just an entire series dealing with grief. The family has never had a challenge and they do it together away from their comforts. There’s never an action shot or thrilling moment or mystery.
It’s sincerely just coming to grips that their father lived a(n honest) double life that he wanted them to be a part of but they refused to engage with.
To make it personal. I travel for work did trail running for a long time. I still engage a bit but when my family comes with me now all over the country and I have experience with a place they always marvel at something I’ve seen a dozen times. I get to see their marvel and appreciate it.
They are having to experience it knowing their father will never get that joy.
So again, a series of grief without any pizazz.

Paige is such a 88888 (swear word). I would never marry her.
I despised her in the beginning, but grew to like her by the end of the season, especially when she decked ol girl.

3 episodes in and I'm hooked.

Finished last night.
Enjoyed the ending after they were back in NYC and all dealing with grief in their own way. It’s a series where you’re never looking for some sort of climax, just catharsis.
The worst writing of the entire thing was making Will Arnett out to be hot therapist.
He acted well and I enjoyed how he was helping her grieve but the whole acting like he was fit and exceptionally good looking was a weird thing.
