See the addiction all too often in restaurants in small town USA so it’s not just big city people problem.
Pretty sad to see families not communicating at a family meal.
Compare that scene to the elk steak meal, and board games after the internet crashed.

that mug scene in new york was so on point with white liberal women not wanting to admit the criminal was black.

Solid show. I’m enjoying it.

But Idk why they had to get the rancher to take them to get the impounded truck. They have a rental. Mom and daughter could have done it themselves.

Probably because Abby (the daughter) made a big deal about Stacy (Mom) taking off in the rental and leaving the rest of them with no vehicle.

I'm loving the flashback aspect of the show. I was thinking they just brought Matthew fox and Kurt in for a half an episode.

All my New York friends are whining about the shows mockery of the city
They can't accept the fact that New York sucks and country life is much better. I will enjoy watching the country life humble all three women. The little girl will be much better in life growing up this way. The landscape is beautiful. We got a booty shot in episode 2. It seems like they are making the actor from suits stupider than he should be.

Watched the first 2 episodes last night with the wife. We can never agree on anything to watch together. She was mixed on it. I enjoyed it mostly because of the scenery. I too was shocked they killed off the men so quickly, but agree that I enjoy the flashbacks and they are still a part of the show.

The mugging was an accurate scene. One dude films with his phone without doing anything and everyone else keeps walking by...

The woke girls and grandkids need an attitude adjustment..

Also Michelle was great in restaurant scene. I hate when I see entire families at restaurants on their damn phones.

Hollywood usually does that with men characters these days, but I agree.

So dumb and clueless if you think you are going to get sucker punched on 5th ave and everyone is just going to stare. Taylor Sheridan is a moron

New York fricking sucks. GIve it up. It was a perfect scene and New Yorkers just can't handle everyone making fun of them.

This x1000

these elitist liberals in big cities have their head so far up their arse they can't see anything anymore. It's like if someone made fun of New Orleans and Destroya and we got all upset and starting lashing back at that person

Only watched the pilot so far.. I thought the first 15 min or so was as beautifully done as possible and I was worried something bad was going to happen… Sheridan notoriously is bad at writing female characters, so this should be interesting

Update: watched all 3 episodes now… this is by far Sheridan’s best writing of women of any shows I’ve seen. Michelle Pfeiffer is such a powerful character and has been amazing so far. The youngest daughter is obviously terrible attitude wise, but the older daughter is very interesting and I could see the show really revolving around her storyline and I think there’s a lot of depth to come w her.

I’m sure there will be surprises coming, but this feels like a really good show with good actors and just amazing cinematography

Just finished episode 3. I’ve come to the conclusion that Taylor Sheridan makes the type of shows that me and my friends and family want to watch. Shows that make you want to escape for an hour and just sit back and enjoy. Every show doesn’t have to be The Wire, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, or the Sopranos. Just a good ole fashion fun tv show with great scenery and a great cast and good music. Michelle Pfhieffer is so damn good in this. Kurt Russell is great as always.

I saw someone say on Twitter something to the effect of Hollywood went super woke and make a bunch of weird shite, superhero’s and sci-fi… and Sheridan was like hmm I’ll just make normal shows for average people.. and became a fricking billionaire with like a dozen hit shows

Just got through the last three.

Paige is such a 88888 (swear word). I would never marry her.

The episodes were good. This should be on network tv.

Edited to clarify post.
