Just go back through this thread and read the complaints. Just because you like it, doesn't mean everyone does.

This thread is a shithole of what it used to be and it has more to do with the obnoxious shite posters driving off those who were discussing the show. I stopped posting for a while because no one wanted to talk the show anymore. Just who could be the most "clever" with their quip.

Well I said next season I was out. Glad you like the crap they are putting out now.

It's all subjective. I have no doubt there are shows you watch that I find to be crap, and vice versa. They are hardly putting out crap, but it's different from what many of the tv watchers were used to for years. Can see why some don't care for it.

It's not going anywhere, probably another season with 40 percent less viewers like this season and I bet it gets axed sooner than later. Think about that 40 percent less viewers this season.

Seriously doubt those numbers are going to keep dropping like you think they will. 80% down in two years? LOL no.

It was bad cgi. That takes you out of any story..film a real tiger then edit it in. That deer was also bad, on the level of walking with dinosaurs circa 2001.

The no recoil full-auto gunplay is ridiculous, as are the apparently bulletproof vehicles.

Daryl laid down his bike at speed and apparently didn’t get so much as road rash.

Dude in the truck has a gun on his hip, watches Rick pull alongside him, watches Rick climb in with him, and THEN he decides to pull his pistol. Dude.

Ezekiel was dragging himself at first because of his shot up leg. By the time he’s got back to camp, he was moving pretty good but with a limp and a cane. Maybe that toxic waste promoted fast healing.

Now this is exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned jaded viewers. You have to have suspension of disbelief to enjoy this show or just about any work of fiction. I guess you should only watch documentaries.

The progression of the kings injury and limp didn't bother me one bit.

How do you feel this show compares with game of thrones?

The deer was horrific. The tiger wasn't that bad but a bunch of people on here locked onto it and yucked it up when in reality, it's not that bad.

Seen worse CGI in major motion pictures recently.

This is an example of nitpicking a show.

IMO Game of Thrones is better in terms enjoyment from episode to episode as well as production quality but in terms of overall story arc I like TWD better. It leaves me thinking more between episodes about where the next episode will take us and where the story is going. Basically GOT is more entertaining while TWD is more thought provoking. JMO.

I didn't think Ezekiel was shot - they never showed him bleeding.

I just assumed he broke/twisted/sprained his ankle because all his followers jumped on him and pushed him down.

If he got shot in the leg with that 50 cal he wouldn't have a leg to limp on.

That’s fine to an extent, but at this point it’s like Rick’s crew is playing a video game on easy. Of course some times they’re gunna need some luck to get out of a situation, but it gets a bit ridiculous when every week they cheat death by having a guy with a machine gun missing 100 shots or a random herd of walkers coming out of nowhere to kill only their enemies.

And really now Rick’s crew is the most evil group on the show. They’re responsible for hundreds of deaths. Didn’t this war all start when they murdered a bunch of sleeping people who they’d never even met? That’s fine, they’re doing what they need to do to survive. But don’t have them do evil shite then try to force feed me that they’re the good guys.

Once this Savior war plays out if (and that's a big IF) TWD sticks to the source material for the next chapter in the saga it really has the chance to redeem itself.

In general, no.

But last week's plan to spray machine gun fire to pin them down for as long as it takes for the initial casualties to reanimate is absolutely fricking absurd. That is taking to to the extreme of absurdity to the point that I can't help but wonder if its a big frick you to the fans complaining.

Lets say out of the overall group, there were only 3 guns always firing to provide suppression. Even if they reanimate in less than 5 minutes, that is still more than TEN frickING THOUSAND ROUNDS!

And this isn't just unlimited ammo in action scenes, THIS WAS THE ACTUAL PLAN.

Don't forget that the deal they were making with the Hilltop was basically the exact same that they had with the Saviors.

They were just "changing" overlords because they felt the new ones would be benevolent.

I can easily see Negan's Saviors starting along a similar path. Protecting communities in exchange for resources, that grew to subjugating communities.

Breaking bad on amc was incredible. All depends on who is in charge.

Frank was more than decent. Gimple sucks.
