Anyway, I was disappointed in the show last night
- it was fricking slow
- too much character building IMHO, and what was up with the racist frick in there? Why would he have not shown his racist colors before the episode. And how the frick has he hung onto the meth?
- the zombies moved wayyyy too fast for my taste, and climbing the fence. WTF?
- Why the frick weren't the people using the fire axe beforehand? Why did hte sheriff guy break it out and not the others?

I was more upset w/ the zombies using rocks to break windows instead of the zombie climbing the fence. I've never seen a zombie actually use a device like that

I was annoyed that the deputy didn't drop that handy grenade into the throng trying to figure out how to climb the ladder and that they didn't use some of those vehicles to play "Plow the Streets". I wanted to see some major zombie carnage.

Personally I like the fact that the Zombies can climb a fence and move at a fast pace. Hell using rocks to break the glass door was bad arse. I like that the zombies are not hollywood issue.

Survival makes strange bedfellows. Maybe he was best with a rifle. I was happy when he got left. I hope the zombies get him and turn him. Perhaps he will become a zombie leader and go after the other survivors camp. He would be a cool adversary.
I would never use a fire ax against zombies. Great chance that it will get stuck and then be useless. A bat would be more reliable.
Great show and story.

any chance that long haired zombie is more advanced?at the end of the first episode the camera gives him a weird shot and he's seen in the second episode(when they are walking around with the blood).

I didn't find this episode slow myself. It seem like it ended to quick, but that could be because I stared the show late and zipped past most of the commercials.

they may have used a little extra character building for filler to break up this episode and the next at a point they thought would work best. Either way its better to have to much than not enough.
I figure they all came to Atlanta for the same reason but not together. They just ended up hiding in a similar place and became reliant on each other to some extent. You have to like Rowdy getting left behind, you know he will be back one as a zombie or vengeful white trash guy.

Now this is a big concern with me. When the Asian kid (I'll refer to him as Dong,) Dong rescued Sheriff Happy (or what ever he called himself in the downstairs of the store) they went down the alley and climbed up the fire escape, but the zombies just clamored at the bottom!!! So they can climb fences but not fire escapes? The one thing I demand in an apocalyptic film is consistency in my zombies!
