I just don't get the love for this show. It's cheesy at times, incredibly melodramatic at times, and simmering below the bad character writing is a rather boring story which in a parallel universe wouldn't stand a chance of becoming a well liked TV show.

Agreed. My wife was watching it the other day and it was so heavy handed and melodramatic. I hate heavy handed sjw crap.

we watched it. thought it was good but didnt get the HUGE reveal at the end. we all knew he was dead right?
Also, my wife and i agree that we really like the couples EXCEPT for the fat one. they dont belong in the show. its a stupid storyline.

Don't mind the fatties' storyline (aside from looking at them).

THe wife wanted to see it so i set the dvr to record and have to admit that the show really isn't bad. The black couple has been my favorite so far. His comment in the hotel room about not having quick sex then falling asleep watching house hunters had us rolling.

We started watching for Justin Hartley, but love Randall, now. Randall gets the best one-liners. Plus, his and Beth's relationship is fantastic.

I like Kate just fine, but her boyfriend makes my skin crawl. His character is cringeworthy. the way he handled the whole Steelers game situation was

Kate drives me up a wall. How thy managed to find the biggest person on television AND make her one-dimensional is beyond me.

I feel like the show is mainly about Randall and the others are just supporting players. The Randall story line has been the most interesting so far and next week it's revealed that Randall tested at a genius level as a kid. This is definitely the Randall show, which is fine by me.

It's easy to feel that way because Randall has been the most fleshed out character on the show. Right now its been the jack, rebecca, and randall show. Hell, William is more deep than Kate and kevin. That's fine right now because those three are really strong, believable, and real characters. But the show will have to find something to make Kevin and Kate less broad which is something they've started to do with Kevin last week and I'm pretty sure I read that down the road we'll get an episode centered around Kevin and Randall's relationship which should do wonders for Kevin as a character
