Of all things, why Time Bandits? Sign it into law, no Terry Gilliam remakes ever. Go pick some marketable shite to mine for likes.

Not the Time Bandits. Cheap cosplay ripoff.

No wonder Terry Gilliam stormed off the set in disgust.

A comical diversity troupe led by Phoebe from Friends.

Taika is a hack. Gilliam could do humor without drowning it in "Ain't I so clever" snark, which Waititi obviously lacks the ability to do. Time Bandits was smart, funny and full of some of the finer actors of its generation. This looks like a weird episode of Friends.

I hope it bombs hard, but having seen some of their other shows, I'm not sure Apple is too concerned about that.

I can see them being fun for those not familiar but it’s just not the same for those that really enjoyed the unique original “bandits”. Their physical traits were an important plot setter

It’s a 1980s fantasy. So the style is similar to never ending story. Labryth , willow and those types. Terry Gilliam is the writer so it’s quirky and funny layered in that style of the 80s. It’s got some really good actors but the production is dated .

I imagine the series can really expand on the plot but I wish they’d stuck with the dwarfs. They were hilarious the way Gilliam wrote their characters

I bet the little people actors feel pretty pissed off right, now.

No dwarves, no watch.

I hate when people say, I threw up a little but.... I threw up a little. That honestly looks like 1st time writers, directors and actors. Everything about it is terrible.

They upscaled the original into 4k, if you're interested in the trailer:
