My personal G.O.A.T Spider-Man is about to be back
Marvel has a real opportunity to gain traction again with The Fantastic 4: First Steps and Daredevil: Born Again. Deadpool saved the studio so I am hoping that they really return to their pre Endgame days.
Can't wait. Hoping it is about Kingpin and Daredevil. The Daredevil release schedule makes it seem like that could be a possibility. Spider-Man and Daredevil taking on Mayor of NYC, Wilson Fisk.

Last Spidey film seem to confirm a more grounded, street level film, but I keep hearing rumors about a Venom teamup to defeat Knull, which is the opposite.
I have a feeling that they will ignore the grounded stuff and since we are in the Multiverse Saga, get a Venom teamup.
But a Daredevil teamup would be amazing.

I may have a slight melt if it isn't street level. I'm okay with aspects of the opposite but I need something from Marvel that isn't universe threatening. That is hard to relate to outside of Avengers movies and Guardians movies. Fantastic Four as well.
Spidey and Daredevil being made out to be villains by the Bugle and the popular Mayor Wilson Fisk would be very solid.

I believe Daredevil will be the first "turnaround" movement for the MCU.
No one really watched Agatha, the new cap movie is apparently trash, then Daredevil will swoop in and reinvigorate the universe.
From there, they better keep the momentum up or people might be really done with all things marvel.

idk if sony is gonna loan out Venom. they seem to be trying to build their own spiderverse without spiderman.
would love to being him in.

They hinted at Ned becoming the Hobgoblin character. That could be the next villain especially if Peter trying to keep MJ and Ned safe results in Ned turning against Spiderman.
The tie in with Daredevil and the Kingpin is pretty straightforward. Gerhard Winkler (who works for the Kingpin) developed a device to mind control innocents and criminals for the Kingpin. That device (plus maybe some chaos magic) is what turns Ned into the Hobgoblin villain.

Holland has been extremely open that he has power this time around and has been involved in the development process of this one, and he has also made separate comments of wanting a more grounded character and movie, so I don't think you see things like Venom.

If true, the Goblin Glider is going to need a boost in horsepower

I just wouldn't be able to take that actor as a villain seriously.

I hope not, but they at least were trying to set that up last movie.
I just think it would be dumb, to not only have a new guy playing Venom so soon after the Tom Hardy movies, but that the new Venom be set up because of Tom Hardy just randomly being thrown into the MCU for a second (even though it made zero sense how he got there).

He'd have to go through a Chris Pratt level transformation. Or a different actor after being affected.
I'm not sure if it would work.

His appearance isn't even the biggest reason why I wouldn't be able to take it seriously, no pun intended.
It would be too much to have him go from having literally zero other trait besides comedic relief for three movies, then be the villain.

Wasn't the thought that Venom or one of the other Symbiotes in the collective was the one who knew Peter Parker somehow?

Yeah throwing Spider-Man right back into all this multiverse stuff immediately would be so dumb considering the ending of NWH set him up perfectly as a full fledged, independent Spider-Man. Peter has had his “with great power comes great responsibility” moment, he’s in the shitty apartment, his identity is a complete unknown again, he’s got the comic accurate suit without all the Stark tech bullshite, and they even set up the symbiote storyline with the post credits.
We need to see more friendly neighborhood Spider-Man looking out for the little guy and trying to juggle his personal life with his superhero stuff. I’d love to see Kingpin and someone like Michael Mando’s Scorpion as his main henchman. Perhaps introduce Felicia Hardy (Black Cat) in this as the new love interest. Spider-Man can easily pop up in Secret Wars with his black suit without making Spidey 4 a multiverse movie.

See this is why I hate so much what Sony is doing with their goofy Spiderverse. Spidey and Venom teaming up before Peter even gets the symbiote would be the dumbest story they could tell imo.
Peter absolutely should get the symbiote suit and get rid of it before he ever faces Venom or even knows about any of this symbiote shite. It’s what makes the Venom character work so well to begin with. The symbiote being OBSESSED with Parker seeing him as the perfect host and acting like a jilted ex girlfriend after Peter tells it to frick off is so good. Then it bonds with Eddie Brock, who despises Peter Parker and boom, we’re off.
With the Fantastic Four coming soon, it would be really cool if we could get the comic moment of Peter going to the Baxter building with a piece of the symbiote and finding out from Reed Richards that the black suit he’s wearing is actually a living alien organism that’s influencing his every move.
fricking Sony

Somehow Spider-Man has largely avoided the MCU’s post-Endgame preaching and pandering. I hope that continues.

I'm waiting for SpiderMan 7.
