but it was pretty sick nonetheless
Felt like I was watching an episode of Spartacus! Seems like they both share the same bloody special effects people here lately.

It is a ridiculous style, but I'm a fan of both shows so it's alright with me

Book Spoiler:
I know the show doesn't follow the books but in the books Claudette is a Fairie. So I would assume all the dancing people were other fairies. She is sent by Sookie's great-great-grandfather to watch over her. So in essence: her fairie godmother.

No, Quinn was a fling, she marries Eric.

Could you guys stop with the damn book spoilers?
Can we for once have a WEEKLY episode thread without 200 book spoilers?
How hard is it to just keep book spoilers in a BOOK THREAD or a True Blood Spoiler thread?

no friggin shite. it's really getting out of control. make a thread about the sookie stackhouse novels vs. the true blood tv show and talk about it all you want, but keep it out of the TV show thread.
ETA: I did it for you.

get off the computer and read the books, they are really good.
Also the TV show is just very loosely following the books.
It isn't like stuff from the books, is canon in the TV show.
Also every book spoiler is labeled, just don't read them.

Yeah but people will quote the spoiler in reply or comment on it w/out any warning. Why can't we just keep it seperate?

And every week people are asked to STOP putting book info in the episode or season thread.

Amazing how quickly they turned Bill into the bad guy
Wellllll....I think Bill has been doing shady shite little by little and now it's all about to come out. All the pieces are just now coming together. In season 1, I think either Bill killed Gran or he glamoured Rene into killing Gran. Gran wasn't a fangbanger...why would Rene kill Gran? Who does it serve better to kill Gran? When the voice of reason (Gran) is out of the way, it makes it much easier to control Sookie's feelings. In season 2, Bill goes to the Queen and Hadley tells Bill to tell Sookie hello and she asks about Gran. Bill never tells Sookie that Hadley was at the Queen's house and asked about her and Gran. Why would he not tell Sookie that her own cousin was at the Queen's house?

Nope. Rene was there to kill Sookie and gran just got in the way.
I don't think Bill was at fault in the Sookie attack. He was bled to near death and was temporarily insane when he chomped her up like that.
He also could very easily have fallen in love with her while working for the queen.
Gathering info and draining Sookie when he was on autopilot doesn't make him the enemy yet.

Hangin around with Lorena for a couple hundred years had to frick him up mentally
So who knows? He could very easily be a bad guy.

First y'all bitch about "no spoilers" now you bitch about them. Y'all need to stfu and scroll past them. It ain't hard.

Even easier to STFU and keep spoilers out of a weekly episode thread.

As long as someone kills off Russell then I'll be fine

So now we know that drinking Sookie's blood makes vampires able to be in the Sun. Which is why Hadley is so important to the queen.
No it doesn't. Why do people keep jumping to this conclusion? If that was true, why didn't it work before as Bill has drank Sookie's blood ALL THE TIME during sex? BTW, that's not a book spoiler, that's just from watching the show.

It is not permanent. You need to keep drinking. Bill clearly did not burst into flames but he did start smoking. And he drank her to the brink of death.
Perhaps one needs to have daily intakes to gain a semi tolerance of the sun. We have only seen Bill drink a few times. It is not like he drains her nightly. Or at least that can't be inferred from anything we have seen on the show. That would make her permanently sick.

I just think it's a weak arse spin if they try to make this true. I can't go into detail because it would include book spoilers and I don't want to do that here. It's just such a stretch since he's been drinking her blood for a while now.

Why would that be a stretch? He naturally avoids the sun. He wouldn't know he had a tolerance built up.

I want to say it so bad, but it would take saying what Sookie is. In a couple of weeks when they say on the show what she is, I'll readress this question. BTW, none of this is in the books, but it would take saying things from the books to justify my arguement.
