Evan Rachel Wood looks amazing. The upgrade from Old West style to future chic is working for me, I gotta say.

mean, it’s clear they got so upset that Reddit figured out the twist to S1 that they sacrificed good story telling to ensure no one could possibly understand anything that was going on in S2.
Hot take here guys

That was a pretty good episode. My girl Maeve next week though.
They made the future look pretty good. Outside of Blade Runner 2049, I can't think of anything that was visually that good.

If people hated super hero Maeve last season they will love terminator Delores ?
I believe this is where some of the hate for the show comes from. Once the women, be it robots, take over and start kicking arse people lost interest. Probably why they hate season 2 and aren't going to like season 3. They liked it better when Maive was just a madam in a brothel and Deloris was sweet and innocent and getting raped and killed. When they woke up and started fighting back a lot of men didn't like it.
We see it all the time on here. Guys go into movies/tv shows just looking for "SJW bullshite". I just take a movie or show for what it is and don't look at any , perceived, underlying politics. Probably why I liked season 2.

Even some of the critics who liked season 2 the most will admit season 2 was extremely over convoluted

This episode was better than the entire season 2.
You can tell they are distancing themselves from "too smart for the masses" bullshite.

I loved S1, and liked S2, but admit it was very hard to follow, especially S2. I binged watched about 70% of S1 and S2 Sat/Sun on HBO. On 2nd watch knowing the storyline and able to follow most (but not all) of the time jumps without thinking about it....the story and storytelling is amazing, some of the best I've seen on TV ever.
If S3 can keep the same rich storytelling while making it a little easier to follow, this could be the sci-fi show of the year.

Thought the episode was great. I love where they are taking this story.

I love season 2. It confused the hell out of me at times, but I like reading up on stuff after episodes and that helps. The majority of people dont though and I get that. But every Westworld thread ever has someone say the exact same thing you just said. Everybody knows it was confusing. But that also blinds people to some of the best episodes ever. There were some incredible episodes in S2 that nobody appreciates because they didnt like the confusion the season brought as a whole. The show runners also admitted to their mistakes and even after the episode last night they said they wanted to keep it a little more simple and less characters.
Did you like last nights episode?

Looking back at Season 2 as a whole, it is pretty clear. It was not that way while watching it. The story was pretty clear, it was just a little much trying to keep up with where they were at any given time during the season. I think someone could edit it and it would flow much better.
The thing about Season 1 was they were jumping around and no one knew it so it did not interrupt the flow. Season 2 everyone knew it was jumping and it actually made it harder to keep up.

Wasn’t great. Felt like an over correction of the issue but I’ll still watch.
Think Marshawn and that whole plot took it down a lot

Thought the episode was good and Im in for the season.
I do have a question on the first episode though.....What or who was in the vehicle that pulled up to the scene where they were injecting Delores? The guy from SOA cried out like WTF but I never saw who was actually in the vehicle. Did I miss something??

It was empty...Delores can summon vehicles (like the motorcycle). The guys were just surprised to see a vehicle they weren't expecting.
She later put the dead guy's body in one of the same type of vehicles
