Right. That guy who became a bot for Delores was a pro and had been protecting that important family and company for years. When he saw it was empty, his spidey senses started going off because he knew something was very wrong.

Might be wrong, but I thought he saw his replacement host/doppelganger in the back seat, that's when he freaked out and ran.

Good catch. That is entirely possible.

Think Marshawn and that whole plot took it down a lot

The “mood” shirt was funny though.

What or who was in the vehicle that pulled up to the scene where they were injecting Delores? The guy from SOA cried out like WTF but I never saw who was actually in the vehicle. Did I miss something??

It was the host copy of him. It’s why he froze and was like what the frickkkkk?

Then the same car pulls up later when the host comes out and kills him.

Just watched it, going to love this season - if they can keep it up, being less confusing, but still have some awesome reveals, then this season could easily end up with season 1 on my go to seasons in any show.

The car had fog in it, it wasn't empty, and if you look you can see the dude's hair - it was his doppelganger in the car, it's why he freaked out like he did.

The first 30 had me thinking this was gonna be like last year, but it self-corrected and gave us an interesting end. Still not sure how Caleb (and his past) is gonna tie into all this. We’ll see.

Hope they don’t jump off the rails next week. I’m in until then.

OK that makes way more sense given his reaction.

I’m sure it’ll fade as the season goes on, but I couldn’t see Aaron Paul as anything but Jesse Pinkman in this episode.

I liked this episode a lot. Like the direction it’s going in.

Figured he might turn into a Teddy style hitman/muscle for her.

... he's an android created by the other AI to stop Dolores - if you watch he's in a loop in the first 50 minutes of the episode and then right around the time that Dolores is about to "win" he rejects his loop (tells the recording to stop) and seeks out Dolores.

I wouldnt think so. Seems like a normal guy that is struggling in an technologically advanced world. Job sucks, money is low and he's having to take care of his mom in a nursing home. Having emotional issues bc the loss of his friend and struggles to cut his now AI buddy off. I dont think he was seeking out Delores, more just stumbled upon her.

Did anyone catch if they said when the Rehoboam AI thing went online?

I think there is a chance that it has behind everything we have seen to this point.

I also think that the other designer of the Rehoboam that they won't talk about could be Bernard/Arnold.

Not sure if the timeline with that would work. At the most that would have been invented 30-40 or so years ago maybe? Ford was working on the host it would seem earlier than that.

But it does makes sense that this is what was scanning people brains/thinking/emotions while they were in the park.

Really liked this episode, and I like how this season is potentially looking. I've read a couple of reviews where they think the show messed up leaving the park, but I disagree. There's still plenty of areas WW can touch on thematically and philosophically with it now moving into a real world setting. WW has always looked great and the quality is just on a higher level than anything else out right now. With it moving into a real, futuristic setting, it will really shine IMO. Finally, Djawadi is always on his A-game.

As far as the future(2058 is the year), I think it looks great as well. It isn't too overdone and seems like a good extrapolation from where we currently are. The drone-tech as a means of transportation really stands out. I did find it weird that LA literally had zero traffic in most of the scenes, but I think the reasoning behind that is that traffic has largely been eliminated at that point from automation, Rehoboam, and Musk's Boring tunnels
