Yep... finally. Halo starts filming next year. They're supposed to be putting a massive budget and effort into it.

Yep. Storyline wise its the richest of the series, Ganon alone has more depth as a character than all the other games combined.

I'd like to see a Batman series that mimics the Arkham games. The Martha rescue scene in BvS was very close to this with the stealth, gadgets, and combat.

The problem with trying to make a video game into a movie is that you only have 2-2.5 hours to pack everything in. It would never do the game justice.
That being said- Mass Effect. Hands down one of the best stories that could be made into an HBO-style series.
One that i think could make a really entertaining 8 or 10 episode miniseries would be the original Dishonored game.
