Barberosa is probably the best western you've never seen. It stars Willie Nelson and a young Gary Busey. It's a fantastic movie and measures up.

Going back a little further, I've always really enjoyed Stagecoach (John Wayne, Thomas Mitchell, Claire Trevor) and Destry Rides Again (Jimmy Stewart, and Marlene Dietrich). Both movies came out in 1939.

Appaloosa is one of my favorites that I think doesn’t get enough attention.
