Basically every second of the Star Wars prequels is a plot hole....
One that always bothered me was Citizen Kane. He died with no one near him when he said "Rosebud"...why was this suddenly a mystery if no one heard him say it?
This is obvious as we see the nurse come in the room when she hears the snowglobe break on the floor and no one else is around.

I love Harry Potter books, I mean I'm obsessed, but if you're gonna throw pot holes in it, don't start with this one
why is Ron afraid of the dementors stealing his soul?

He lands in front of the building in front of the front door. How would the joker have gotten out the building without him hearing commotion on the first floor?
That's not a plot hole. It's just shitty editing. There is a deleted scene featuring the Joker and his henchmen escaping the building and getting away before the police arrive. I have never seen it but it's in the shooting script and one of the first official photos of the Joker involved him sitting in the back of a car.

The aliens' tendency to stay away from water is MENTIONED IN THE STORY. It is not a plot hole.
why would these idiot aliens be making signs in cornfields
1. irrigation of crops, watering at night so the sun doesn't burn away the moisture
2. dew on plants
if water is that toxic, should they be making "signs" in the desert?

Star Wars: Leia sends OB1 to Alderan, when the rebel base was actually on Dantooine. Why would she send him to her home planet, where he would just have to then go to dantooine to give the plans over to the rebel commanders?

Back to the Future...
Marty goes back to 1955, and interacts with people thus creating an alternate universe. Doc Brown contends that each realities exist - their events seperate from each other, yet equally influential on the present.
Now, when he is at the enchantment under the sea dance and "Marvin Berry" calls his cousin Chuck so he can hear that new sound, which would ultimately lead to him becoming a pioneering musician - this, to me, is a plot hole.
So he heard Marty playing to get his sound in this "alternate reality," thus becoming a famous musician. But, he was already a famous musician in the original reality. So how was his sound discovered in that reality? - without Marty being there to play for him?

I don't think Signs ever said what amount of water was toxic. Getting splashed with it was obviously a problem, but perhaps small amounts was not. Kinda like 75 degree heat is fine, 120 will kill you.

Not a plot whole really but I always wondered why parents kept sending their kids back to hawgwartz. Seems after the first few years with harry there they´d get the point. Also in year like 6 and 7 why does everyone start calling harry a liar. It had been pretty well documented by that point in time that he had saved the school and possibly the human race time and time again.

They were on a scouting mission.
It's not like ambient water killed them it was a CONCENTRATED AMOUNT that killed them.
It's the same as humans living on a planet like Earth. Ambient CO2 isn't bad...concentrated amount are. Or a better analogy: heat isn't bad until you burn yourself.
Who are you to preaume that you know all about the aliens' motives and how they built their crop circles.
Again it's not a plot hole because it was addressed in the story.

Not a plot hole. R2 could have been intercepted, to where that would be retarded to do that. Obviously they already know that she and her family are traitors, so I'd send him to Alderaan as well to hear the Alliance's plan straight from the horse's mouth, and then he'd send them to the Rebel's Base.

Batman jumps out the window to save maggie gillenahall(thats who she played. she was not Rachael Dawes) and leaves the joker in a room full of innocent victims. Nothing ever happens to those people and apparently the joker just leaves peacefully and batman never goes after him.
That happens. Then this is what the Joker does:

You have to think. If a race is capable of reaching out planet, their technology must be obscenely far ahead of ours. They would absolutely pulverize us if there were any conflict. If they're capable of intergalactic travel, just imagine their weapons. We cant even put a man on mars
No the same but kind of like when the Decepticons hacked the US Defense network in seconds. The incredibly hot Australian brawd explained that it would take a super computer years to do it, and they did it with minimal effort.

Back to the Future didn't create alternate realities with time travel. Otherwise Marty wouldn't have started disappearing at the dance. And nothing would have changed in their origin reality.

And yeah, half this thread's "plot hole" suggestions aren't plot holes. They're either gaps in logic, the result of poor editting, or the fact that the poster didn't get it in the first place.
