Was excited for that movie but no...and fake baby.

Clint became an assembly line director.

He puts movies together like he's footing the bill for every second spent on set.

His last good movie was Invictus.

His masterpiece is Letters From Iwo Jima.

His last great movie with him as Director and him in it is Unforgiven.

(And no Million Dollar Baby, Gran Torino) were not great movies.

Oh boy, another conspiracy nut. It didn't win because it wasn't the best. That's all. The "left coast" did honor it with all the nominations the film received that year.

I only have one problem with the movie and it’s the relationship plot, it just seems out of place.

Lol the fake baby was bad enough it shouldn’t have even been nominated.

Yes, they could have spent more time with that relationship in order to develop the character, but it’s not out of place, and was necessary as it related to his internal struggles.

Overhyped and has a disturbing message to justify abusive behavior.

Where does it justify abusive behavior? LOL

That’s your interpretation.

I don’t think The Great Santini is an educational piece on how to raise your child.

You can’t be serious.

I think people get far too obsessed with the idea there can be only one correct winner. Birdman was a perfectly defensible winner (personally, I would've voted for Wild as the best movie of the year). Whiplash is also great.

Yeah, the girlfriend only had about 9 minutes of screen time.

It’s pretty hard to argue against Birdman. So innovative and with an outstanding lead performance.
