Pretty much great in everything he does. Good actor. Ruggedly handsome. Is it because he is a gamer nerd and gravitates towards those roles?

He should be huge. I am watching the mediocre Man of Steel and he is so great in it. Big mistake recasting him.

His movies don't make money other than Superman or that one Mission Impossible. I don't think The Witcher is even considered successful after the first season.

it is most likely because he is the anti-rock. not that it is a bad thing, he is selective of roles and stay true to the source and if the deviate from it, like the Witcher, he drops out.

Wrong time to be a dynamic, masculine male lead… who’s Caucasian and straight.

Sure he's thrilled getting run off one of his passion projects and possibly another because of crazies in Hollywood.

No one's a megastar anymore. It's all about IPs

I saw some more quotes from him and more inside stuff that made me think that might not be the full story. Regardless, the writers murdered that story

that one Mission Impossible

That’s alone should have made him an action star. He’s fricking great in that movie and they should have brought him back to frick shite up in the newest one.

He gravitates towards roles he personally likes it seems, not roles that are designed to reach the maximum normie audiences.

This is a big part of it it too.

Also a big part of it. The era of the movie super-star is over. Movies don't hold the same universal pop-cultural significance they once did.

Not that it really matters, but there’s some speculation that Cavill is not straight.

he's a pureist, and already worth 50 million. He doesn't need to be a yes man. if he takes a role you can bet it will be a good one.

I think it’s because he has had a very bad agent. But I think he just got a new one

The Witcher wasn't successful after season 1 because "The Witcher" was no longer the main character. Get Woke, Go broke.
