"take on me - A Ha"
No way. Sun Always Shines on TV was also a hit and a much better song in my humble opinion.

Simole Minds "don't you forget about me" from The Breakfast Club movie still can be heard today and it's definitely a huge one hit wonder from the 80s.

I'm a fan of Under The Milky Way.
Song has a mystical feel to me.

Simple Minds is a OHW if you ignore Alive and Kicking #3, Sanctify Yourself #14, All the Things She Said #28, Promised You A Miracle #65 and Belfast Child UK #1.

Great song. I love The Church. I don't really consider them a one hit wonder. They have a 20+ discography.
Sia actually did a good cover - LINK.

I heard a vignette on NPR several years ago about the Waitresses and specifically front man Chris Butler.
Chris Butler was elated at being reunited with his signature lost blue guitar. It was recovered at a night club in Brussels, Belgium.

"Ah, Leah" is a good enough song, but Donnie Iris is hardly a one hit wonder. He also had "My Girl" and "Love is Like a Rock" (both Billboard Top 40) and several smaller hits.

Was "Do You Compute?" his biggest hit?
Edit: nope.
A song of his I always loved is "That's the Way Love Oughta Be"
I saw him live at a small club in the 80's. Dude and his band could bring it.
