Accept for Aldo Nova and BOC at the Saenger in March of ‘84.

Accept again for Ozzy in Biloxi in June ‘84.

Prong for Corrosion Of Conformity in ‘92 I’m pretty sure.

Unknown Rage Against The Machine for House Of Pain in March of ‘93.

Alabama Thunderpussy was freaking awesome opening for Crowbar and COC in June of ‘05. Crowbar was an incredible opener as well that night.

I’m sure I’ll think of a few more.

I saw John Moreland open for Jason isbell in 2016. Had never heard of Moreland, but he blew us away. Been a fan ever since.

First time I ever saw Robert Earl Keen was when he was a surprise opener for Jimmy Buffett in Houston.

We must have seen the same tour. Was it in the mid to late 80's?

The best opening act that I can remember was Montrose.

They didn't blow the headliner off the stage, though. Nobody blew Humble Pie off the stage.

Saw SoundGarden open for GN'R in Biloxi, Ms 1/4/92. I knew after their set that were going to be stars. Just blew me away.

Cheap Trick for Robert Plant in the 80s..tons of energy

Drivin N Cryin for the Allman Bros. Drove 4.5 hours and risked our lives doing 80+ in a summer downpour so we wouldn’t miss them. Got there after it started but they were great

Saga, opened for Billy Squire at Thomas Assembly. Absolutely blew Squire off the stage. First time I’d ever seen Simmons drums. Saga were bad arse musicians.

We were there but missed Soundgarden b/c security was wanding everyone with the metal detector and the line took forever.

We sat down and heard, "Outshined, Outshined, Outshined - Thank You Goodnight"
