I think Whitesnake was the third concert I ever went to. Tremendous show. Mr. Coverdale is one of the greats, and probably underrated.

Looks and sounds damn good for 74. Hope he finds enjoyment in retirement.

Well that just sucks.
I grew up with Whitesnake & Coverdale/Page and still listen to them everyday. Most days I feel the same as I did when it was 1990.
Had no idea David was 74.
Now I feel much older.
I guess great music removes your sense of time.
Seems like only yesterday Tawny Kitaen was sliding across that Jaguar in the "Here I Go Again" video. I hope she's doing well all these years later.
David looks great and I wish him many years of happy retirement.
Thanks for your incredible contribution to rock n roll history.

Thanks for the memories. Though you should have never fired John Sykes.

Favorite Here I Go Again for everyone?
Original
87 Remake
Remake MTV version
Remake radio heavy keys version
I like the original the best with the “like a hobo I was born to walk alone” line instead of “like a drifter…”. Has a different early 80s rock feel vs a hair metal feel.
