For those who like classic film, Hoagy Carmichael in The Best Years of Our Lives or To Have or Have Not.

Michael Hutchence was in a couple of movies. He had such an incredible stage presence.

Flea wasn't in PB that I'm aware of.

Wild, I would have completely sworn he was, but IMDB says otherwise.

He was also great in a movie called "Wristcutters: A Love Story". Had Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous) in it as well.

He's also done some Jim Jarmusch films, which are always worth your time.

Not a movie but Frank Zappa was on a Miami Vice episode playing drug dealer Mario Fuente. Roberto Duran was in that episode too.

not a movie cameo, but Thurston Moore narrates one of my favorite old National Geographic Channel shows, “Hard Time”, an documentary series about life in prison.

thought the the narrator’s voice sounded somewhat familiar, but didn’t realize who it was until I happened to catch the credits after an episode during Season 2.

Vince Neil, Wayne Newton, Morris Day, Sheila E, Tone Loc in The Adventures of Ford Fairlane (add the bonus of Kurt Loder who wasn't a musician but a VJ on MTV back when they actually played music).
