How many retirements tours does this guy do? It seems like every time I hear him, he's doing "one last show".

Gotta be honest.. sure he’s got some all time hits but a George strait concert is as boring as they come
He basically stands in a bucket and never moves and strums and sings. It’s zero energy
I once fell asleep at a concert of his when I was a teenager

He never said he was fully retiring. Just giving up the days of 100+ dates.
He now does a few (10-15) big shows with multiple opening acts and then has a couple of weeks in Vegas.

I fail to see the correlation of a singer who doesn’t dance around the stage and how that changes the songs they sing.

I've seen him holding an un-played guitar as often as not. He's got some nice little songs. He's good. He's fine. But he's overrated AF.
