My favorites may be different today.

So many great albums listed.

Live/Throwing Copper is a great album.
The Rolling Stones/Let it Bleed is a great album.

Every Pink Floyd album is great.

I love every album by The Who.

It's so personal to the listener.

With this quarantine I find myself listening to almost 8 hours of music a day. I’ve run out of music. List your top 3 and I’ll try to listen to them.

Umm...yours?

And like many, it's hard to narrow to 3, but I like the question because it's usually your "top 10" or so and even then most folks add honorable mentions, making it a top 15 or 20. Kudos to those restricting their list to 3!

Mine?

The Beatles "Abbey Road"
Springsteen "Thunder Road"
Steely Dan "Aja"

There are many newer albums that I believe to be absolutely classic, but for me it's hard to put them over the earlier classic albums that inspired so many later musicians.

Modest Mouse - Moon and Antarctica
Built to Spill - Keep It Like a Secret
Neutral Milk Hotel - Aeroplane

I feel like an indie nerd. I love music from all genres and time periods but for some reason, right now these three do it for me.
