Pearl Jam - everything after Yield
It seems that they go out of their way to make a song sound bad. We know they can make good music but one song on an album of 12 songs that is good is not optimal...but that is exactly what you get if you still listen to Pearl Jam. And I would argue that Yield has fewer good songs than it has bad songs.

I feel like it's more difficult to find a good album by a good band that followed several dogshit albums.
I mean, you have to be a true fan to really celebrate recent "legacy" act albums - Dylan, McCartney, etc.
And this happens with a lot of modern bands too. Avett seems destined for junk now. Head and the Heart had a stellar 1.5 albums and then it just went to pure shite.

Well, The Fez, Green Earrings, and Haitian Divorce are the other three featured on "greatest hits albums"
Don't Take Me Alive, Caves of Altamira, and The Royal Scam are also great imo.

Thanks.
I don't think any of those come close to their best stuff.

I think you're wrong.
Didn't we disagree on something else fairly recently?

If not for that goddamned fricked up snare, St Anger is a killer doomish album.

Pink Floyd- 'The Final Cut' I was already not a big fan of 'The Wall' but 'The Final Cut' was a boring, terrible way for the original PF to end. The album should have just been a Roger Waters solo album, but not a PF album.
Velvet Undergroud- 'Squeeze' Another album that never should have been. Lou Reed was gone, in fact, all the original band was gone! Doug Yule was a good musician, but should not have been allowed to used the Velvet Underground name. I refuse to even acknowledge this as a VU album.
Black Sabbath- 'Technical Ectasy' To me, the official beginning of the end for the original Black Sabbath. They lost their heaviness and early style by this time and it was all downhill from this album onward...

Bob Dylan-At Budokan
Bruce Springsteen-Tunnel of Love and Nebraska
Jackson Browne-anything after side one of Lives in the Balance
Rolling Stones-Voodoo Lounge and Bridges to Babylon
and to start the real shite slinging....

I like Disillusioned. I found the overall mood of the album to be very negative and depressive. I'll give it another listen at some point to see if that impression stays.

Ain’t that the damn truth...They had a solid like 4-5 album run going.
I’ll submit Blink-182, anything after Tom left, and I love Matt Skiba/Alkaline Trio but holy hell whatever direction Mark is leading that band is awful. I even like Neighborhoods, it has a few duds but mostly enjoyable songs. California and Nine are lazy and utterly terrible from start to finish.
