It is a gorgeous little guitar and has the most perfect factory setup that I've ever seen. It is going to be a little big for her for right now I think and the unplugged tone is a little thinner than I had hoped for. Sounds great through an amp though.
I guess I'll put this Mini Stewmac Strat kit together for her and stain it some crazy color and she'll get 2 guitars for Christmas.

I can’t believe any of this because I don’t see anything.

Well Pete, I understand that, but I don't even have a smart phone and can't post photos here easily. I have to get a friend to help me out next week.
Here's a link to the exact guitar though at AMS..

That's what I can do.

I've been playing this little guitar all day.
It's probably going to need new strings before Christmas.
My daughter might have to fight me to get it
I really like it.
The tone of it seems to be improving fast, especially the bottom end.

My dream acoustic, the Gibson J200. Short of winning a big lottery it's not likely to happen for me. So I've read a lot of great things about the little brother Epiphone version. I've yet to play on one. You got me thinking.

My friend had one of the Epiphone j200 Studio versions with laminated back and sides that was a faded cherry sunburst he bought from sweetwater a couple of years ago.
He has a guitar shop and has a huge personal guitar collection too and he decided to thin down and he put that j200 out for sale when there were a handful of pickers around in the shop. That thing looked and sounded beautiful.
It was like a race to see who could come back with the money first
That guitar was sold in 2 hours, for more than the original new price. The dickwad Manager at Renfroe's grocery got there first.

The thing I'm finding out about these Epiphones, they are very underwhelming at first, but with some playing time, they start waking up and just keep getting better.
If you play 1 at guitar center, you probably won't like it. It hasn't been played enough yet.
Buy one with a good return window and play the hell out of it. I don't think you'll return it.

The all solid Inspired by Gibson Epiphone J200's are much better than the laminate Epiphone EJ200.

The all solid model is about $1k where the laminate is usually around $500 or so.

They are for sure. I was really surprised how great that laminated one sounded though

I love my jumbo EJ-200CE. I was a huge Jamey Johnson fan and saw he played this model and I had to get one. But I did buy a Taylor last year!

I absolutely feel this. I have a 2005 Taylor (all wood) 214 that I bought used about 2010. It's only gotten better and better through the years as it's opened up! I had it re-fretted a few years back (wore those suckers down playing it so much) and it's an amazing guitar. I'll never part with it.
