Simpsons Sing the Blues album

In 1990 Simpsons Mania was at it's peak. If you could fit Bart Simpson on anything you could think of , he was there.
This was a Christmas gift I received (as a cassette tape) and I immediately fell in love with it. I guess being raised in Louisiana helped. My parents loved blues and jazz, so I subconsciously enjoyed hearing B.B. King and Dr. John.
I wasn't a sad kid.. but I remember the Simpson's version of "God Bless the Child" hitting different and giving me enjoyment of a deeper song.
Just giving props to a seemingly "sell-out" move that i think worked well and really defines the early 90's.
Oh.. I was 9 by the way... just making sure y'all don't think this was some 80 yr old reminiscing of an old cartoon. Haha

I just had the regular Simpsons music CD. Lots of great ones on there.

I actually bought that. And I wasn't a kid
I did have kids, though. Homer Simpson singing "Born Under a Bad Sign" was hilarious. One modification to the original lyrics
You know, beer and bowling
Is all I crave.
A big bag of pork rinds
Gonna carry me to my grave!
Instead of
You know, wine and women
Is all I crave
A big legged woman gonna carry me
To my grave
