I thought Vince Gill took Freys place.

The Platters were originally 4 guys that, over the years, was 40 different guys. Give or take (wink).

It can be done.

But I would not pay to see it.

But I lack progressive skills.

Saw both.

The Who was outstanding….Daltry has pipes for a geezer! Townsen was grumpy but funny (his guitar was strangely low-volumed. Hmmmm)

Skynyrd was pretty damned good tbh.

I’ll always respect the Foo Fighters for not ever trying to be Nirvana without Kurt Cobain.

I frickin hate the Eagles man.

The gay dude from American Idol does a great job with Queen

Please Fool !
Freddy Mercury was probably one of the top 3 frontmen ever. The queer from American Idol is just a screaming little bitch.

Cain, May, and Mick Jones would probably disagree

Of course, they are originals. But its still not the same band. Heck, I've watched the Black Jacket Symphony bands do extremely well covers of these famous rock and roll iconic bands

never cared much for Queen but Freddie Mercury could work the room, hell of a front man

A; Freddie Mercury's slippers

Skynyrd without Ronnie.

Skynyrd was nothing more than a cover band after the plane crash, and a pretty mediocre one at that.

They both did. Saw them in Orlando with Buffett a few years ago. Both Gill and D. Frey split Glenn’s songs. And did a hell of a job.

Creedence Clearwater Revisited is arguably the worst.

"I'm going to see CCR."

No you aren't

Mick Jones doesn’t even have to contractually perform at every gig. On those nights, Foreigner literally is a cover band.

[img]Normally I am a purist. But I will say this

The little Asian dude does a hell of a Steve Perry[/img]

He has just enough of an accent to sound like karaoke. I've seen a couple of cover bands that sound much better.
