He's up and down. He got into a stretch where he didn't want to make country music. Johnny Blue Eyes is like a singer/song writer vibe.

It’s all up. Just different vibes. Everything he does is fire.

A sailors guide to earth is a true gem.

Sturgill Simpson was by far the best guitarist I saw that day.
I saw him for the first time at the Fox in Atlanta on the Sailors Guide tour, soon after Laurs left. I was shocked at how well Sturgill carried himself and playing lead. I really didn't realize he was that good at the time.

Call to Arms is definitely my favorite of his. It's an absolute jam!

Fastest Horse in Town
These recent live shows have been incredible. He’s been weaving LA Woman in as well

Mayer has said that the hardest GD solo he had to learn was the transition from Help>Slipknot
Now I would like to see him do it on the Ken Kesey house party LSD when his guitar looks like a snake, like Jerry did.

Is that the guitar player he used to have?
He’s playing a telecaster in an appearance at ACL I think. “Listening to the Rain”. It is everything a telecaster should be and everything a Tele player should do in a country song. It makes me sad for my cheap Tele.
