The Beatles Reissued Red and Blue Albums Sound Is Incredible!

Especially on the Red album.
They used AI to descontruct and reassemble the mono mixes into stereo and the results are jaw dropping.
"I Saw Her Standing There" sounds like they're in the same fricking room with you. Fantastic!

Genuine question
What is the purpose of this?
Better quality for streaming?
I honestly am interested.

I bought the the vinyl, but don't plan on opening them! (Same with Now and Then)

Yea I like them.
The only tunes I'm disappointed with are Love Me Do and Please Please Me.

Are they autotuning?
No. Every vocal imperfection seems to be there. It's the clarity and percussion of the new mixes that is startling.
I've listened to most of these songs for 50 years, but hearing the first ten songs is insane. McCartney's bass rumbles, Ringo's drumming on "She Loves You" is a runaway frieght train. You hear Lennon's harmoinica up front, every hand clap is heard with crystal clarity and the vocals are amazing. I never fully realized how shocking they must have been to the adults. The energy is on them is palpable. Obviously, I started a thread to talk about it.
It's like these songs were recorded yesterday and you're hearing them for the first time.
If this can be part of the future of AI, count me in.

I don't know if this is the purpose, but the use of AI to isolate each instrument and vocal, to then reassemble in stereo without any tape noise could revolutionize everything recorded prior to 1970 for sure as well as untold live recordings. Look no further then Lennon's vocal on "Now and Then" compared to "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love". Night and day.
I'm listening to these Bealtes songs through a deluxe Amazon Echo. I can't imagine a whole room stereo system.
My next thought is what AI could do with Elvis Presley's substandard quality Sun Recordings. Holy shite!

I’m a backward old fart. Where do you find this stuff?
I think of albums as something I can hold in my hands. There’s something unsatisfying about recorded music floating
In the ether, and must be captured from some service and downloaded to a device. Vinyl and C.D.’s will always be superior and more gratifying.
Oops, just saw it on Amazon. My point still stands, though.

I'm an Apple Music subscriber and arrogantly assumed these would be available...and they're not.

First one should be Robert Johnson’s recordings

I wish my hearing was still good enough to appreciate something like this.

Check again direct from The Beatles website, I ordered the CD box set a few days ago. Guess I'm gonna also have to get the colored vinyl.
