The Grateful Dead
Nearly all Pink Floyd
Most Rush songs
Jimmy Buffet
Would not say hate, but not big on Steely Dan at all
Springsteen
Bon Jovi
etc.

I will go along with Rush and Springsteen , maybe even Buffet as of late, but if you haven't seen the others live you just don't know, my friend.

With you here...

To appease Kafka, I dislike more Beatles songs than I like but I could say that about most bands. Don't want this to be too civil.

Talking about genres, I can't stand ANY country music. Don't care for Pink Floyd and Bruce Springsteen.

Unfortunately this is morphing into people defending their faves instead of staying a good old-fashioned hatefest

Justin Beiber, Katy Perry, Kesha, Nickleback, these people i honestly hate. I hate every song they have ever done.

Bands like the Beatles, Eagles, NIN, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc.. I am not the biggest fan of, but they have some awesome songs and I respect the hell out of them. I may not like them, but damnit do i respect them, way too much to say i hate them.

I dont like rap that much, but i can jam out to Biggie, Dre, Snoop, and the bone thugs all day.

I dont like country that much, but Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, shite even Ray Charles wrote some songs that could be considered country music.

I listen to older music mainly, but I do enjoy the group. The main people I listen to that I guess you would consider younger artist:
Gary Clark Jr.
John Mayer
Amos Lee
Ray Lamontagne
Bon Iver
Derek Trucks
A few others.

Not a big fan of steely Dan. I tried to like it. I wanted to enjoy it. Maybe I havent heard the right jams, but considering the love SD gets from his fans and the type of sound I like, I just can't buy into it.

Also, I REALLY like 4 or 5 songs from The Band, but other than that, I can't finish even their greatest hits. I know, its difficult to post that on this board, but it doesn't do it for me. Maybe I should dig up that last thread on The Band and click on all the links to give them another try.

If the Eagles were just formed today, came out on some independent label and playing small venues they would be pretty damn hot right now. Most of their stuff was average according to my taste in music but they were versatile and put on a helluva show. Much of their stuff has just been overplayed.

Just like most bands from that era.

My favorite thing about the Eagles are the vocals. Not too many bands did it better than those guys.

Jamie Foxx

A crappy song that was played incessantly on the airwaves only because he's been on TV and in movies. Probably the only other song of this shitty caliber by a movie star was Eddie Murphy's song Party All The Time.

frick Foxx and his autotone song and all the times I was forced to listen to it in public.

I really dislike arcade fire
I despise adele minus the song rolling in the deep, its a great song. She has an amazing voice but there is only so much of that sad big girl music I can take.

I know this next statement is going to be shocking and maybe even sacreligous to some but

frick VAN HALEN

This thread is the most depressing thing that has ever been posted on this board. The responses I am seeing are shocking, disheartening and down right dumb. Either there are A LOT of trolls in here or some people who are actually tone deaf.
