I just generally am going to like a studio version better for the most part. I love to hear bands I like live. If I've never heard the song or group before, I will not like it live at all. That is why i was surprised at how much I liked Iron and Wine as well as DBT live on the Austin City Limits shows. I had never heard those songs before.
