I love it, but it's gaudy as hell in a hillbilly kind of way. I'm down to deciding between this and 1 of the DR10e Mexican Martins.

I wish the neck was slightly wider at the nut, but it will be OK.

Pickguard is too small. needs some decoration, too.

I like some gaudy but damn, that crosses the line to straight up tacky in my opinion. To each their own though.

Hummingbird is the most beautiful guitar ever, but the all solid epiphone ones, seem impossible to find right now. That's really kind of what I wanted, but I came across the Excellente.
ETA: ZZ just got the all solid Hummingbirds back in stock. Things just got complicated.
Already on backorder again.. LINK

I have an Epiphone Master-Bilt acoustic that I bought a few years ago and I absolutely love it. I actually enjoy playing it more than I do my $3000 Taylor lately.

I had one of the Masterbilt AJ 500s, that I traded for something a few years ago, it was really a great guitar and super loud. Just a booming guitar. I didn't have much in it and I believe I traded it for a Nashville Telly.

Man, I just traded in a Takamine for a $150 Epiphone that I absolutely love playing!

Well, I'm glad that I get to keep my Takamine, it's an unbelievable guitar. It just doesn't have factory electronics, and the 2 piece saddle complicates things.

Epiphone ruins the look of guitars with that awful headstock IMO

I love the headstock and that 7 piece neck. The cloud inlays are beautiful too.
The bridge is probably my least favorite thing, but I can live with it. It's definitely a guitar that stands out.
With the ovangkol back and sides, it should have a sound similar to rosewood, and I've never owned a rosewood guitar before.
