I think between Edwards and KAT finally gaining a bit of a chip and frick you attitude in part due to all the personal trauma and adversity, and as much as a I hate him, Pat Bev's culture setting and energy, has completely changed the identity of that team.
Definitely is no longer the team Jimmy Butler frustratingly took all the end of bench guys and walloped KAT/Wiggins in a scrimmage and called them a bunch of pussies you cant win with.
And credit where credits due, Chris Finch has been a great head coach for them.

Monty/Gentry taught Finch everything he knows

Didn't Finch spend most his time under McHale and then Malone in Denver?
We went after him cause he had turned the unorthodox Jokic and the Nuggets into the best offense in the league.

Finch prototyped Moreyball in the GLeague for Houston. Then he built Denver's unique 2 big offense. Then the Pels Do It Big offense. I also will say that Gentry Ball didn't become Gentry Ball until Finch came. The year before Gentry was preaching pace and passing but you rarely saw regular, beautiful basketball until Finch came.

Wiz and Knicks making it interesting.

Chris Finch just might be the most underrated basketball mind of modern times

So it is obvious now that Charlotte is not getting our pick. Does the Graham trade look better now that it will be two seconds?

CHA gets the 1st if the pels make the 8th seed.
If they don’t then CHA gets 2 2nds

No. b/c on no planet should we had to offer a lottery protected pick to sign a RFA that his current team had zero interest in resigning, and then allow a team that had zero cap space to sign Lonzo but we let them basically take him from us and we got an assistant coach back in that deal.
Does it look better that we aren't in the playoffs, is that what you are trying to say?

typically they don't announce times for the final slate of games until we get closer to the actual games for potential seeding/tv purposes. The 11am is probably just a default placeholder until the times get announced. I imagine we will be playing at the same times as the Lakers and/or Spurs that final weekend

ah that makes sense.

Very possible neither team has anything to play for
Posted on 3/28/22 at 11:54 am to cgrand
Spurs will be jumping the lakers also

that would be nice...
of the remaining, only LAC and LAL currently have something to play for, and even LAC is questionable. MEM definitely needs to hang on to #2 (and get a play-in team) but GSW is making that easy for them at the moment

yeah those are placeholder times. ESPN has them as TBD for now.
GSW playing @SAS night of 4/9 so they are in similar situation as us leading up to that last game. Decent chance they have everything wrapped up by then so they rest guys for our game.

Yep...the NBA holds off on announcing starting times for final game (or 2)...to avoid any "shenanigans" by teams that might play AFTER some other game on that final Sunday. ALL games will be played in early afternoon and compressed into a 2-hour time frame for starting times. Helps avoid situation where a team might throw a game after knowing results of earlier games IF it helps them play a team they prefer to play, in the playoffs.
