Not that we have to worry about this right now, but Memphis also has the defensive personnel to neutralize Zion when you dedicate 3 players to that like Milwaukee did.

Goal #1 is avoiding the Play In for me. Worrying about best matchups seems like putting the cart before the horse to me.

I'm still holding out hope for the 6th seed and the Kings in the 1st round, but if we are in the play-in, I'd rather us be the 8-seed than the 7-seed, because I think we actual match up really well with Denver.

As crazy as it sounds, I think I want Denver most out of the top 4 seeds. I've never believed in them as a playoff team because of their defense.

The only reason why I'd want the Kings over Denver is because I think it'd be easier to win 2 games in Sacramento than winning two games in Denver and elevation.

I get that Zion is 4-2 against the Grizz, but at one point he was 4-0. And like another poster said, we are 1-5 in the last 6. The last time we owned the Grizz was literally in 2020.

We were getting our asses brutalized before Ingram got injured in that game

They are a different class of team than us

They would have the best player, best coach, and best defender in the series.

It would be a 4-0 series. If Zion was healthy and clicking right now, maybe I’d have some optimism. But he’s not. And I really think if he was, we’d still lose the series 4-2 and they would be toying with us the entire time.

We are probably a top 6 team when absolutely healthy. But there are some teams that absolutely are better than us. We need a little playoff run this year, a fine tuning of the roster next year, and health next year to make a leap and truly be as good as a team like Memphis, GS, Boston, Bucks, KD Suns.

Missing Jose is huge right now. He changes the game when he plays.

Nance being healthy also. He was one of the main reasons why we won those playin games.

Memphis might be the last team you want to play, especially without Zion. They are the most physical team in the league and we haven’t done well with those type teams. We play who we play in the end. The main thing is to just keep winning and let the cards fall where they may.

and the best 3 pt shooter. bane.

and even without injured adams and clarke and ziaire williams a better bench because Jose and nance are not 100%.
