Honorable Mention: Herb Jones
Toughest Omission: Dyson Daniels

43) Brandon Ingram
28) Zion Williamson - "Incredibly Touchable Untouchable"

Pretty surprised I didn't see Trey listed. Maybe I missed him

Trey is in a weird spot.

He is in demand but he would have to be bundled with someone else just because his salary is low. No one trades a player that good on a rookie contract without big money moving next to them.

Well, it's certainly a list of players

I appreciate the desire to bucket players together, and it's clearly no exact science...but it's pretty clear Trey is our 3rd most valuable trade chip.

48/40/90 on pretty solid volume for a 6'9" guy at the age of 22...that's uncommon.

This is their worst tanking that I can remember. OG and Siakim were both in trade rumors at the deadline. OG in particular was more available.

A decent chunk of the top 25 have been traded within the last few years. It's a pretty dumb list

It's only him and one other player in that group. Ja

I'd bet anything he flat out forgot.

There's no way any person has Dyson Daniels or Ochai Agbaji with more trade value than Trey Murphy. 0.0% chance.

Jalen Brunson and Josh Gddey have NO business being above Ingram or Zion. C'mon

Josh Giddey struck me as being too high, regardless of how you feel about Zion or our other players

I think he forgot Trey too. That said, and I hate defending BS too much, but his rankings aren't just about the better player today, but age, salary and contract status.

Dyson right now is not anywhere near the 125th best player in the league. But unless I'm trying to win a title next season and need to find a starting wing, give me Dyson with 3 years left on his rookie contract over Middleton or Harden any day of the week.

They didn’t list Sengun either, which was wild. And Giddey was listed at #22.

CJ also was omitted. He was on the 75 list back in February.

Scoot was listed at 46, I believe, if you want to cross compare w Z and Ingram’s rankings.

Bill is just one guy though. He’s mostly unbiased with the exception of maybe Boston. So it’s a good list to look at from that standpoint.

But if all 30 front offices did this. I’m sure there would be a ton of variance across their lists.

Trey definitely should’ve been on the list, but Bill tends to love listing guys that have 3 years left on their rookie deal, vs 2. He’s given a lot of love to Herb, Jose, Trey, and even Naji at different times. This season, he just happens to be on a Dyson Daniels trip.
