I watch a lot of Duke. Flagg has astronomical upside. I think generational talent is hyperbolic but he’s incredibly versatile and fluid on offense both as a scoring option and playmaker. The framework is there, keep in mind he’s 17 and scoring 20 and 10 most nights including against strong competition. He alsready has a reliable mid range game, and on defense he’s preternaturally talented and smart both on ball and help, which is extremely hard to find. Duke has zero point guard play so Flagg is having to create his own offense and taking some tough shots. My knock on him is he doesn’t like to bang in the post or play under the basket, and he can be a little passive on offense as a scorer.

I don’t know that I agree with that, but who said anything like that?
I'm saying that. Look at the league.

Because of our roster construction, I think Harper might be the better fit anyway.
But this is also a knee jerk reaction to Flagg. He’s 17 and his upside is tremendous.

Agreed. I’d lean towards taking Harper for the pels but Flagg is a beast and literally just turned 18 in a time when college basketball had never been older from an age standpoint.
The pels would be lucky to land either of them

This is a guard and wing league. You don't draft and build around a big man unless is Wemby.

I actually think his better fit is more of like a big guard tbh

Kasparas Jakucionus is emerging as a top-5 prospect. Luka vibes. Some say he's #3 over Bailey.
