This is exactly what I want from an owner.

The value of the team isn't going to decrease. She'll continue to make more money being the owner of the team.

Of course she'll make money being the owner. But not more money than if she just cashed out for around 5 billion right now.
The Pels were dead last in revenue last year at just over 300 million. Net income would be significantly less. Gayle is almost 80, she would be dead before she earned more than 5 billion going off of annual net profits.

Gayle doesn't give a shite about 5 billion. She's almost 80, that money isn't valuable to her. She gets a check every year from the NBA and that plus she's the head of Louisiana sports. That's all she needs

Lets just say she lives to be 100, you really think in the next 20 years she would see 8 billion + in profits?
That would be $400,000,000 she would have to profit per year, on teams that make probably in the neighborhood of 50-70 million a year profit currently

You're talking in circles.
She doesn't need the 5 billion but for some reason the money that she gets at the end of the year matters? You claimed she makes more money off the team over selling. That is not true. Nobody is saying Gayle needs the money, we're simply stating she would make more money selling than keeping.

He can't fire him right after she says this. That would just confirm that he didn't have the authority and now she is letting him do it. So he'll have to wait a few days, or longer, and pull the trigger to give her cover. We all know that she was shielding Green, but that seems to not be the case anymore.
I wish we would have done it earlier. We can't keep giving games away. I honestly think we can steal 3 out of the next 6 games, if we had a new spark..

I believe the following:
- I take Gayle at her word that she is not interested in selling.
- She has no kids so the church is her "kids" as far as inheritance
- She has no clue what she's doing and is basically just doing what Tom set up
