And a Center in the NBA will only look as good defensively as the rest of the team. It’s the equivalent of a single high safety in the NFL, he’s only as good as the corners are. If the corners are getting abused and he has to try to cover for them he will look horrible also.

You are looking at tonight but he's been bad all season. He flashes and make you think he's playing amazing but he gets bullied regularly all year. That's one of the reasons why we are near or at the bottom of the league in paint points allowed.

Again, this is him getting abused. He's not ready to anchor and he's a liability half the time. And yes, he's the big part of the problem right now but we have no choice and that's fine. You're just hoping he develops into the solution in the long run. He is still super raw and his reads bad in space.
I wouldn't be comfortable with him starting next year. They need to bring in a starting caliber center and let him develop properly so he won't continue to develop bad habits.

Shout out Karlo. Led the team in rebounds with 11. 4 assists. He even hit a 3. He needs more minutes the rest of the season. We gotta see if there’s something there with him
