I would someone like Joe Harris or Danny Green and a lower priced stretch 4/5 like Kaminsky if possible. We then would have the cap space to take on a contract or two for future assets.

You may be right, but to be honest, your post kind of reads like an elitist "true fan" screed against new comers.

I’ve noticed comments like this from some other posters on this board.

New comers like myself are what all the excitement is about.

Would the “true fans” not want new comers buying season tickets or not posting at all on this board?

I admit that I don’t know much about the intricacies about the NBA now, but that won’t stop me from being a fan again.

Zion is incredibly exciting, but what got me back was the changes in management.

I trust they know what they are doing.

The Pels now have the feel of a first class organization, like the Saints.

And yes, somehow I hope we can bring in a starter in FA that will allow us to make a playoff run this year.

How about Kawai Leonard! LOL

The fact that some of you took the OP to be that way is sort of perplexing. It is a very milquetoast OP. Relax.

It was not intended as such.

People that don't follow basketball a lot are not going to be as impressed by reclamation projects as they would be by a big name. I don't think that's anything controversial or insulting.

I really just hope we don’t waste this 30 mil on a bunch of scrubs and sign a bunch of Solomon hills or guys who really should only play 8-10 minutes a game. Apparently we aren’t after Brogden which hurts my soul

the melting & whining around here by mid-july is going to really be annoying. as will the melting & whining in december when garland is scoring 20 pg and hayes is nailed to the bench

That will be particularly annoying.

But I will be cheering the hell out of Garland in the hopes that Cleveland pick magically conveys.

I mean you have to factor in what NAW is doing off the bench too because he was part of that trade. But melters won't go that far in their minds we traded the right to garland for hayes straight up.

God forbid Cam Reddish gets hot.

Same here.
My post was not meant to take a shot at you in particular.

I’ve noticed a few posts that were a bit condescending towards “newcomers”.

That’s all.

Go Pels!

And I don’t like that flock up thing or whatever it is! LOL

To certain things, for sure. Not generally to this sort of thing. I don't typically overreact to the draft or FA.

Other things that don't matter as much for sure, its a problem.

You know that won't be the case. I know that's your whole shtick with me but its not entirely accurate.

I have hated Demps for a long time and saw him squandering Davis. And I was right.

I will have several years worth of patience with Griffin and Zion. Getting upset during a game does not equate to wanting Griffin fired.

Demps deserved to be.

I know you won't be as bad. I just like to pick. And it's mainly just game thread situations. Like if the saints are down 14 in the second half and everyone knows they can comeback you lose your mind .

Demps definitely earned all the criticism and melting over he received.
