Show yourselves, simps.

I’ll bite. He played well. He still generally sucks in the clutch. People can acknowledge this and still be a fan of Ingram and the team.

I’m one. I don’t hate him but like the other poster said he has been terrible in close games. He seems like a nice guy but when you’re getting paid to be the guy, you should be able to close out games

The most impressive thing about BI tonight was his interview. He’s matured significantly and is taking on that team leader role.

I love that you made this thread. It will come in handy in the future. It speaks volumes that you have to defend a max contract number 1 option supposed top 20 NBA player. It shows the uncertainty that has always surrounded him..

You could see after Graham hitting that shot in Utah, Ingram seems more willing to pass up a tough shot and pass the ball to his teammate. That will help him the most in clutch time, where he's not trying to force a shot with 2-3 people draped on him.

He isn’t a dog but is a steady hand. Is Jrue a dog? Like Jrue, he’s a steady hand.
It’s frustrating because I think we actually have the pieces to be a good team, but our rather round generational player isn’t playing.

Steady hand. That is a big compliment..

No I’m calling out shitty fans with low bball IQ, like yourself.
Rooting against a max level player who chose to stay here.
A 3 level scoring long wing a missing piece in both the Paul/West era and the AD/Jrue era who can function as secondary playmaker.
A guy who came to New Orleans and won the most improved player award.
“Fans” like you are not objective and are low informed on what good pieces are.

Seems like you just wanted to come here and pick a fight baw. Relax.

Lol, calmer than you are, Dude.
It’s about balance. Ingram haters, which there are plenty, need to acknowledge his performance. They make threads all the time about him.
Zion Jonas and Ingram with a healthy supporting cast is a playoff team. That’s not on Ingram.

That why I do not like the Superstar needs help narrative ... You are the Help! BI, when healthy, has been playing as a top-25 player this year. I believe the squad, as is, is a playoff team. Zion should theoretically put you over the top into being a contender.

Brave.
I'm glad a "Superstar" had a good game and helped win us a game. Even though he actually played better the game before. But it's a big win and hopefully he does that every game. Now we have this thread to re-live it after each game. How do you think that's going to go?

Wow, he took the most guaranteed money he could get by the first team to offer it. Bold move.

Missing piece to what? Honest question, do you think Ingram is as good as Middleton? Do you think anybody believes that Middleton is a star or a true max player? Should either one be considered franchise players?

Worthless award in a weak year. Aaron Brooks won the award a few years ago. He was out of the league not that long after winning.

Are you saying I'm actively rooting against the team?
I just give me opinion, like everybody else. I know value and how winning teams are built. The hierarchy and how you set those pieces. I also know empty stats and what winning players look like.
I see Ingram and I see value. What we can turn him into. He is not a foundational piece. He is not bought in. He is a lazy defender and checks out for games at a time. He is a gifted scorer. A decent number 3 or 4 guy on a competitive team with a strong coach/culture.
We aren't winning anything with a big 3 of Val, Ingram and Zion. That is an 8-10 seed fully healthy. I'd rather fix it now and take the lumps. Like I said, we'll see how this thread ages. I hope to take my cat calls after the next game..

Ingram has given good interviews and talked a good game ever since he got here tbh. Maybe his leadership has taken a step up, but he’s always said good, insightful things in interviews imo.

What a bad take. How do you conclude Zion, BI and Val get you nowhere when they’ve never been on the floor together?

I said before the season we were a sub .500 team. That was assuming all 3 would be somewhat healthy through the year. I have upgraded that to the 8-10 team which is somewhere around .500. Still not a threat or a solid playoff team. Just on the fringes.
This isn't a revolutionary opinion or take. Every national media guy says the same thing. It's just different than what people hope for on here. Lots of people want something to happen so bad it becomes unrealistic expectations. I'm just not drinking the kool aid..

Booker wasn’t a winning player until he was. That’s all relative to who’s around you. We have NAW as a second option even a primary option at times.
You clearly do not as citing the 2018-19 season as Ingram-Who had a career threatening injury and LeBron Who hurt her vagina as evidence that Ingram wasn’t a winning player despite that team success (fighting for the 4 seed) before the injury bug.

Both roster lacked a halfcourt wing scorer critical to winning in the NBA, which again you’re clueless about.[

Yes, youre clearly biased.

You wouldn’t know it, but you’re actually speaking more on Zion than Ingram.
Curry had the 8th best team. last year. It’s about the people around the stars.
