What a disappointing night. Hawkins is a great shooter bur he does nothing else. Griff will have to force Willie to play him, he’s not getting on the court otherwise. Would have preferred to take a swing on someone.

I was wanting Whitmore by the time the pick rolled around.
But Hawkins is a decent pick and technically fits the need of shooting.
If Trey Murphy ever goes cold or gets injured it was going to be brick city
So nice to have another legit shooter on the roster at least for situational basketball and spacing

I think it's fine. There are more moves to come which should mix up the roster some. We definitely need a 4th and 5th big.
As constituted, I guess Hawkins will fall into the role left by Richardson, who mainly got minutes due to injury. He's just doesn't have a lot of flexibility like most of our current wings that can somewhat slide 2-4. I would have preferred a combo guard that would have played some 1, like George. But Hawkins talent is needed..
