Is that your idea of what the team should accept?
The lakers & Nuggets are built much different.
Harris & Barton can be the lead guy any given night on that team.
You’re talking about two guys who shot 21x per game combined, compared to 11 between KCP & McGee.
Why do I need to explain how Denver plays I don’t get it
Yes I do think those two guys are a solid starting point in a trade if they come with a pick like we are all expecting. I’d rather them over the Nets duo any day of the week.

Harris and Barton aren’t “the lead guy on any given night.”

Especially Harris. And Nuggets fans don’t seem to care for Barton much as well

How are Harris and Barton different than Hart and NAW? Pass
Posted on 11/15/20 at 2:38 pm to CP3forMVP
Barton literally led the team in mpg when healthy & was a close 3rd in shot attempts to both of their lead guys lol

This is a bad opinion from you. Just trying too hard to go against the grain.

Barton, Harris & hart are all interchangeable between the 2/3. All competently handle the ball & all have flirted with being elite 3pt shooters.
How is that not valuable lol.
NAW sucks so who cares about him in this scenario

quote:Valuable? the two of them cost about $67 million the next two seasons and neither are anywhere close to the player Jrue is. It would make no sense to trade him for those 2.

you are still going to go this route after all the times it has backfired when you’ve said this?
The gall of you bunchie. Are you ever right about anything?

Excuse me, but what player mentioned in any of these trades are close to the player Jrue is?

They are both average players making some money. They are fine complements for an already good team. Trading Jrue for them as centerpieces is classic Lester contrarian posts.
Obviously combined with other assets that could change.

Pot, kettle. This is you being contrarian, not really believing what you’re saying, and then getting worked up about it. Relax snowflake.

The only chance to get back a player that is as good as Jrue in a trade is to make the centerpiece of the trade a top 10 draft pick (or a young player with potential like MPJ). Unless Denver can make another trade that nets a top 10 pick, or they include MPJ, their trade “assets” are bad.

You’re never going to get as good a player back. That isn’t the point.
The point is to get a combination of assets that can add up to future value and sets your team up for the future.
Not two average players making a bunch of money and saying “ok that’s cool”.

I’m not being contrarian at all. You just don’t have any feel for value, as usual

None of that means anything. Murray and Jokic had the ball in their hands far more than Barton. Murray was in the 75th percentile in usage rate, Jokic was in the 82nd percentile. Barton was in the 46th percentile.
This shouldn’t even be a debate, yet here we are.
