I've said it before...Matt Ryan is muuuuuch better fit in those min than both Jose and Naji and I hate to say that about Jose because he's one of my fav Pels of all-time.
I think/hope Griff will trade Naji to just force it.

People forget how free flowing and open the lineups were at the beginning of the season with Ryan in the game. People were starting to game plan for him a little.

It was beautiful. He's still 7th in made 3s for the pels and he hasnt played in 2 months.

He's not a great defender but he's not bad either. I don't think you see a huge drop-off defensively between him and Naji but you see a big gain offensively. Naji is better a driving (which usually means into a bunch of bodies) and probably better in transition but Dyson can do those things and Ryan opens up the shooting.

Exactly, our defense isn't going to go to shite because Ryan is playing over naji, Naji isn't THAT good of a defender. Our offense however can get much better

I know this is a joke but why wouldn’t you run a lineup out of CJ, Zion, matty, Trey and Hawk when the other team has their second string in? Against the Mavs when Kyrie and THJ were out would be a great opportunity to play that lineup for a few minutes a game.

Really. So you think a guy who can shoot like Matt was without a team until a few weeks before the season because “he’s not bad” defensively. I like Matt and he will get minutes when the inevitable injuries occur. But judging from the last two games, we’re too deep for Jose to get minutes right now. Matt isn’t bumping anyone in front of him out of PT.

I think it would be very bad defensively, but I wouldn't mind seeing it against other small ball backup lineups.
